Project 1

Module 1

For activity 1, I collected 5 simple objects which are an orange, a cigarette box, a lip balm, a wristband, and a pencil nib. After this, I tried to use the Cinema 4D to build some basic models.

For activity 2, I realized that some of the objects I chose at the beginning would be too complex for me to make them. Only one complex object was picked, which is the kitty doll. And the other two are cigarette box and the wristband. I took additional photos from different angles to understand the structure better.

Material Workshop 1

The beige middle part has spiral patterns, looks like 3D-printed plastic. The golden parts on the top and bottom have a metallic shine, but they look more like spray-painted or coated plastic rather than real metal. So overall, it is likely 3D-printed plastic with metallic spray paint.
Project Video Link
The surface shows visible layering patterns, which looks like 3D-printed plastic (commonly PLA or ABS). The complex structure and regular textures are very characteristic of 3D printing.

These items are translucent, colorful, detailed, and have a smooth surface. They appear to be glass, probably blown glass or handcrafted art glass. They are typical of decorative colored glass craftsmanship.
